3 DAY YNSA WORKSHOP – January
Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) is named after the Japanese physician, Dr. Toshikatsu Yamamoto, who developed this acupuncture system in 1973. Since its introduction, it has been advanced with the discovery of additional acupuncture points, which are mainly located on the scalp. especially used for treating neurological conditions, and is not only highly effective but the results are immediate in stroke patients with pain and/or restricted mobility. As a result, the use of the method has increased and became very common to be seen in clinics and hospitals. It consists basic points (somatopes) which are mainly on the scalp and also has areas for needling in other body regions. In addition for providing symptomatic relief, it can sometimes be curative therapy.
Workshop General Information
The workshop will be held during the weekend; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours a day. In order to make sure the students will be able to practice the method correctly and with confidence, it will be an active learning workshop. Therefore David Bomzon will teach the participants the basic acupuncture points which were first described by Yamamoto and even now are used effectively to treat wide range of neurological and orthopedic conditions. of course that after each theoretical part everyone will be practicing and will be observed in order to understated everything which is necessary.
